It is. It is. Which caused me to go into hysterics when I heard it the other day. Thankfully I was in my car and alone when it happened. Cause generally no one else gets my humor.
LOL yeah...I've got random friends who get parts of my humor. Just no one gets all of it. I'm the dork in the theater laughing when everyone else is silent...
LOL and the one currently laughing at Joseph on Moonlight who's being a dick to Mick.
OMG I know how you FEEL! I went to see 8 Mile and I can't remember what part it was, but I thought it was funny and started laughing and NO ONE ELSE laughed. It was like crickets...
I giggle to myself about stuff at work a lot too and people look at me like I'm crazy.
I like Joseph, lol, he's funny. It's weird, though, because I'm used to seeing Steve as the reckless one, but Mick is usually the levelheaded, rational one in Moonlight (as least as far as I've watched).
I have what I consider my "obsession phases" and clearly H50 is one of them, but Moonlight has the appeal that could make me obsessed too. But if I'm going to continue to obsess over Steve/Danny it's difficult to obsess about Mick too. Does that make any sense?
God. I was laughing my ASS off during the first Transformers cause one of the military guys said something that reminded me of a friend. And everyone else was like...horrified. And my sister was HITTING me--in the theater!--trying to get me to shut up...because I was like having hysterics laughing so hard.
And it was like "Dude, if you KNEW some of my friends!"
I learned not to read or write at work...it's okay now since it's just my gramma...but at the school...not so much.
Joseph is awesome. I kinda like his embracing his vamp-ness and not afraid to be an asshole. He's kinda fun that way.
Yeah it does make sense. And I understand completely. I have to take myself out of certain mindsets in order to write other characters.
It helps that Mick and Steve are so different and to me Mick doesn't look that much like Steve.
Lol, I continue on reading and writing at work. I really don't mind people thinking I'm crazy.
Steve and Mick don't look a lot alike - impressively so, considering. I think he's buffer in H50, but "prettier" in Moonlight. I mean he's hot in H50 and he's pretty/sexy in Moonlight. Somehow those aren't quite the same to me. And they certainly act a lot different to me, with the exception of their protective streak - both of them are Big Damn Heroes.
Ah but there was a certain persona I needed to project when teaching.
Well he's definitely more muscular now. Leaner and more...military. *giggles* Yes the hair makes him prettier. I'm not sure I think he's sexier. But yeah I agree.
Well, I have to tell you, I drank a few glasses of wine and then had a BLAST writing the Steve/Danny/Kono thing. Seriously. I mean, I felt sort of embarrassed but it was really fun too. I'm glad I wrote it, and I'm totally going to write another one, this time with my own plot (or not) in mind instead of someone else's prompt.
Wait...that sounds wrong. I've written 3somes before. I just needed names for the characters. LOL I brainstormed them with a friend earlier and I have the names and started it...my girl is just so cheerfully slutty at the moment. *shakes head*
Yeah after I wrote that...I realized how it sounded and was like...crap that was not what I mean.
I meant my character. She really is cheerfully slutty. She's also totally freaking out one of the guys. He's not sure what to do with her. Here I'll give you the beginning (and unfortunately all I have because I keep getting interrupted by other things)
"So which one of us do you want to fuck more? Or do you just want us both? Because that is definitely on the table." Clarissa cradled her wine glass as she curled up on the chair opposite Mark and smiled at him.
"Dorian!" Mark yelled in response. "I think your friend just propositioned me."
Dorian exited the kitchen, his own wine glass in hand. "If you aren't sure, she wasn't really propositioning you." He perched on the arm of the chair, trailing a hand over Clarissa's shoulder. "Trust me; she's rather blunt about those things."
Clarissa turned a pouting face towards him. "I'm not that bad."
He leaned over, kissing her lightly. "I'm sorry, luv, but you really are."
I know how you feel. I keep writing bits of my stories, but I haven't gotten anywhere with any of them because I bounce between them and then there's this convo of epic convos we've got going and then my mom keeps asking me to look at pictures and my dad keeps asking me to "look up" stuff like, "where is that Camelot show Starz is making being filmed?" ...
Thank you. Oh I know where it's going...but it's hard at times to write porn when my door is open and my Gramma is wandering around...but I can't close it.
Yeah there is that. I'm not really trying to write at the moment...I'm kinda burned out at this moment because I'm not sure what I want to settle on.
This would be easier if we could do it in real time...do you have AIM?

Bahahahahhaa, it isn't "I come from the Land Down Under" is it?
