I'm having fun with this "Spell September Challenge" business. There's some new authors I've been meaning to try that I'm finally going to get around to reading. So here's the updated list though still not final (it'll be final when I'm finished), strike through indicates that I've finished it :) - I'm secretly (or not so secretly) jealous of Heather who is already ahead of me.

S - Shadow Game - Christine Feehan
E - Elkeles, Simone - Return to Paradise
P - Pearce, J. 's Sisters Red or Poison Study by Snyder
T - Teresa Medeiros' The Bride and the Beast
E - Eternal Ones K. Miller
M - Matched by Ally Condie or something by Richelle Mead or Kat Martin
B - Beautiful Creatures by Garcia and Stohl or Born to be Wild by Christine Warren
E - Eloisa James - Desperate Duchesses
R - Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan or Rosemary Clement-Moore's Splendor Falls or Highway To Hell

I had thought I would not have Return to Paradise in time to use it for this Challenge ("E" is not the easiest letter for me and there are of course three of them) but it came in yesterday - right on time and while I think I shall save a review of it for a later time, I will just say this: LOVE. Sigh. I'm really, really looking forward to her next Fuentes brothers book.

I'm not usually one to get involved with anything that decides my reading for me (well at least not since I got my B.A. in English Lit) but I thought this might be kind of fun. Plus, I still get to choose what I'm reading, it just narrows down my choices a little.

It's the Spell September Challenge invented by a "group" on Goodreads.com (yes I am obsessed with goodreads.com and you should be too). So! I don't have to read the "letters" in order, but I will have to find three book titles or authors that start with "e".

Here's a tentative list to start, full of my favorite kind of "trashy" reading.

S - Surrender to Me by Sophie Jordan
E - Eloisa Jame's Duchess by Night
P - Pearce, J. 's Sisters Red
E - Evermore by Noel or something by Suzanne Enoch or another by Eloisa James
R - Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan or Rosemary Clement-Moore's Splendor Falls or Highway To Hell

I have to have it finished by September 30th soooo wish me luck. I'm not terribly certain about my ability to finish nine books in 1 month, espeically since I haven't picked any picture books or rereads. Granted several are teen reads and none of them are difficult. It's just that I don't always make/have as much time for reading as I've had in the last two weeks or so. Speaking of time, I think I should be in bed! What was I thinking? I've got a big day tomorrow, what with the new rewards thing launching tomorrow.
