Writing Challenge Day 4

10 interesting facts about yourself:

 

I feel like “interesting” is subjective… but I’ll attempt to make this. 

 

1. I lived in Germany for a while when I was small. 
2. I used to be allergic to cats but I mostly--mostly--grew out of it. 
3. I’ve always wanted to play a villian in a SyFy original movie.
4. I’m obsessed with romance stories. Like seriously. If it doesn’t have a love story in it, there’s a good chance, I’m not interested. I make exceptions for picture books and some kid books, but not much else. 
5. I dearly love to read and I dearly love to give recommendations, but I nearly always refuse to take any recommendations. I’m less resistant to movies and TV shows. And I’ll almost always try out a few songs by a recommended artist. But books? Nope. Not interested. I’m not sure why this is. I don’t know if I was always this way or if just too many years as an English major made it so I couldn’t stand any more “assignments.” 
6. I’m jealous of speed readers. 
7. My dad is from England and my mom is from West Virginia so if you can imagine that combination… Actually, you probably can’t imagine that combination, lol.  
8. I started volunteering in the library when I was 15 because I wanted to be around books. I kept working in libraries because of the people and the community of it. 
9. I can’t open my eyes underwater. 
10. I can’t swallow mashed potatoes, they make me gag.
