Busy Day was Busy

I told myself that I wanted to write 200 words a day this week. I'm struggling to make that many tonight because I'm tired and I need to go to bed shortly. I did spend a little time watching tv, but I was mostly just zoned out from being pretty beat. It's not that I had a bad day. I had a good day it was just busy, and I felt like I was rushing from start to finish, and I had some extra stuff--a visit to another branch and a staff meeting--that expounded on that feeling of rushing and busyness. Then I also had to try to figure out how to get my prescription refilled because the prescription had been sent to express scripts but now the new insurance doesn't appear to work with them, and I can't get express scripts to tell me anything helpful. Eventually, I found the option to request a refill be sent to a local pharmacy on my online medical profile, so I sent that in, but I was pretty put out by the express scripts business. Then I also, somehow, totally forgot that my registration renewal for my car is due on Thursday, so I had to get that done so that I wouldn't forget again and miss the deadline. I worked 11am-8pm yesterday and today but I go back to 8:30-5:30 tomorrow which means getting up "early" instead of getting to sleep until 9:30 like I did this morning. I'm thankful that I can sleep until 7 am though instead of having to leave at 7 am, that makes a pretty big difference for me and my rest, and I'm thankful I've been able to have my schedule that way. I'll be sad tomorrow to come home in traffic again though. It's been nice with the working odd hours and the holiday last week not to have to deal with any traffic! A well, hopefully, I'll get to write something more... "real" tomorrow instead of just a list of things the day involved.
