Dear Hawaii Five-0,

I love you. You have done to me what nothing else ever could (turned me into a fanfic reader, writer, and slasher - and nothing else has been able to do any of that in the time since I discovered the existence of fanfic in 1997.)

 

Please make every ep like Ma Ke Kahakai. 
It's not just the fangirls who think it was awesome either. Really, really. Everyone else watching loves the bromance too!

(Bromance MY ASS, those boys were on a DATE. They were celebrating their anniversary and that's why Chin and Kono were working at the office when Danny and Steve were hiking. Danny hearts Steve. Steve re-broke his arm to protect Danny. Of course next week, Steve will be making eyes at Jenna and/or Kono or calling Catherine and Danny will be expressing his undying love for Rachel and vowing to win her back, but for now I'm going to enjoy this gift from the canon to us fangirls.)

You're so right-it was a date! Even more than that,it was Steve sharing an important piece of his childhood and his past to Danny,and Danny listening and sympathizing.
And it was Danny cuddling hurt!Steve and then signing he loved him(and mouthing it,too,lol).
It was also heavy flirting in the kitchen,Steve giving Danny the bedroom eyes filled with anticipation when Danny told him he was going to make Steve pay.
I wish every episode would be like this-sigh!

This episode was just EPIC! The hiking and the "I ♥ you" were sooo sweet, and the fish inspection scene... well that was pure "eyes and voice tone" sex!!!
I wish H5-0 would move to HBO, but unfortunately it's CBS, and since I read a few spoilers about next episodes and the season finale, I have like a sad premonition this was just a way to make us slasher fans happy (I know they're well aware we're here watching their show!) before letting us down...
