I'm a fan of Madonna in general and I was going through a break up around the same time the song was released. I already had a livejournal account, but I had decided to delete it because ex's ex had found it and at the time it seemed better to start over than it did to do anything else. Not that she couldn't have found this one and read it, I suppose, but I can't see why she'd bother now.
I guess my point is that while I consider myself to be in a continuous state of flux (or maybe stagnation, crippled by the fear of choice), I still believe I'll find my way.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I love it! Also, purple is my favorite color :D
Did you know the the first ever slash fiction was about Kirk and Spock (definitely) and the whole Pon Farr (I'm fairly certain) busy-ness? Fun little factoid.

I took "Reading Popular Culture" which is where I learned about the Star Trek bit. I learned about general fan fic during the early Potter years. But neither of those things generated by interest, nope I have H50 to thank for that.
