I hate this cover, it is driving me crazy and unfortunately for you, I'm about to tell you exactly why.



I think my first issue is that I'm just tired of cheesy vamp covers, and this is seems more like a caricature. This cover over does the pale skin and looks like the "tv tie-in" cover from Dead Until Dark/True Blood only when it was in middle school and even less appealing. The braces look ridiculous. The perfectly smooth, blemish free skin conflicts with the idea of crooked teeth and if the "person" on this cover ever needed braces, it certainly doesn't look like they need them now. Also where are the wires? Braces don't do much without wires. Considering the length (or lack thereof) of the fangs, I'm betting those braces would interfere with biting someone. If there is that much blood on that one spot of your lip, why isn't there more ANYWHERE ELSE?

The worst part is the way "she" is wiping the blood. She's in the process of wiping the blood down her chin. If she's a vampire, and enjoys blood, shouldn't she be wiping the blood up and into her mouth? If I get  something on my mouth like say, chocolate syrup, its counterproductive for me to wipe it down my chin and make more of a mess. 

Alright, enough ranting for one night.
