Tired Kate and Ready Player One
Apr. 4th, 2018 11:51 pmI don’t think I’m any less tired tonight than I was last night. I had a pretty busy day today including some time spent in front of people teaching a class of seniors about internet resources. I did a combo walk jog when I got home and had some other stuff going on too. Plus, I had to finish “Ready Player One” because I was just too close to the end to stand it. It had finally gotten really invested and things were getting truly exciting and I needed to know how things ended. I didn’t think it would have a bad ending, but I couldn’t be sure how everything would play out. I’m glad I made it through the rest of the book to get to the end because it was worth it, even if I had to do a good bit of skimming.
After that, I also reviewed it so I did get a little writing done, thankfully. I meant to try to get some done at work, but there just wasn’t enough time with everything else that was going on and customers coming and going and sometimes needing help. I enjoy helping and being busy helps the days go by faster, but it is nice when it’s quiet enough that I can get other projects done.
For one of my displays this month, I’m going to do a “If you Love, Simon” with some cute LGBT stuff. I just need to figure out how it’s going to look and which display area I’m going to put it in. I’m looking forward to that.
… I just touched my screen to wipe something off it, and moved my paper around because I somehow COMPLETELY FORGOT that this is a touchscreen computer. *Shakes head at self*
Okay, as frustrated as I am that I’m behind on my word goal, I am exhausted and I’m getting up early tomorrow to go to the gym. Peace!
