I was hoping to get a little writing done today at work, but the only writing I got done were the 12 “Thank you” note drafts I wrote for the vendors that helped with our 25th Anniversary event the library last week. Which, is a lot harder than it sounds. Writing unique thank you notes? Seriously, that is draining. I also did a walk/jog this evening when I got home which I’m pretty happy with. I also wanted to do some sit ups and maybe a push up or two. I’d love to take a shower, but yeah, that’s not going to happen. Not until the morning anyway.
I’m worn out from today. Five hours at the desk is a lot and we were pretty damn busy. One of the patrons was so sweet to me though. She was telling me how sweet I am and how helpful I am and then she said I shouldn’t change because I’m beautiful in the face and in the personality (English is her second language) and then she gave me chocolate and I pretty much cried at the desk (my eyes were very teary).
I know to turn off the TV and just focus on writing something, literally anything, but I want to see this episode. I vaguely remember it, but not clearly. Ugh.

Okay I finished the episode and turned off the TV--well except for some music because I really do need to concentrate for at least a little bit.
I started a story last night that I think could be fun. The main characters right now are Sharon Carter and Maria Hill. They’re talking about how awkward and weird that kiss Sharon had with Steve was in Civil War (you can fight me on this), but what I can’t decide is where the story might actually go beyond that. I kind want to watch bits of Civil War again to help me decide, but I doubt that I would actually decide anything and then I’d just watch how beautiful Black Panther is when he moves and not actually get anything else done. But I am kind of curious about the idea of pairing Sharon and Natasha. I mean I love Darcy and Natasha, but I also love Natasha and Clint and I also love Darcy and Clint and I also love Natasha, Darcy, and Clint all together. I think there are probably a few other combinations of one or more of them with other character or characters that I haven’t recalled. I did write Darcy with Bruce once because of this really cute story with them that someone else wrote and, honestly, I can see it.
Jane is an awesome character, but she’s one of the few people I think might actually be honestly… straight. I can also see her as being asexual. Personally, I think her character was written/played gray-asexual or demi (you can fight me on this too, but I’ll be damned if she doesn’t really start to get attracted to Thor until the two of them spend some time talking and enjoying each other; she acknowledges that he’s a fine specimen but you don’t see the lust until you also see the longing in her eyes).
I wish Sif got to be around more because it would be so fun for her to get to be part of the shenanigans. I mean she KILLS (literally AND figuratively), she’s hot af, and doesn’t stand for any GD shit. I would love to see her running around with the Avengers. She’s such a sort of puppy in the first one, but if there is anything that Nicole Haught has taught me it’s that you can be a puppy dog and a hot woman and a really freaking great character, and be great in an f/f pairing.
Oh Jesus. Can you imagine the Earp crew meeting the Avengers? I just feel like that is some sort of crack that would probably break my brain if I tried to find a way to write it.
I’ll have to keep thinking about things. For now, I need to sleep. No matter how much I may want to stay up and listen to my book.
