Writing Challenge Day 7

My tattoos and what they mean:

My tattoos are pretty straightforward actually. I have a moon peeking around the cloud on my back and lit candle on my foot.There’s a verse in Psalms about “a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” The idea that there’s a higher power out there who wants you to be able to find your way in the dark is just really lovely to me. Plus I just have, in general, a love of the moon and the stars and candles and lamps so both those things made sense to me on basic levels too. My next tattoo will be different likely. I plan to have one more about my love of books, but we’ll see what happens.
