Middle of the Day

 

I slept the sleep of the dead last night and it was glorious. It wasn’t quite a full eight hours but it was pretty darned close and it was good, deep sleep. I actually feel rested today, even now at the two thirds of the way mark and without my usual amount of caffeine. I am craving the caffeine a little bit, but so far I haven’t developed a headache.

Good Sleep is Good

Earlier I was all, “I have so much energy!” And that was definitely a true story. It was great to feel rested today. But now I’m crashing. It’s been a good day if a busy one. I spent four hours on the desk for the first time since before I went to England, plus an hour of chat. And it was busy. I tried to write earlier, but it just didn’t work out beyond a few words. I did spend a little time playing with my Darcy story and I’m hoping that will come together soon. I look forward to working on it if I can just figure out what the plot is and what the details are. I’m sure I’ll get there. Hopefully in time for the end of the month! In the meantime, I’m worn out!
