So Dad said that he would pay for my continued education if I wanted to transfer to Charlotte or somewhere local and live at home. If I want to continue to go to Wilmington I will have to pay for it myself. I wanted to pay for it anyway, but the problem is - I don't have a cosigner. I've got no family other than my parents. There are a few friends of the family but I don't think they'd go against my dad like that and even if they did I'm not sure they'd feel they could handle that kind of responsiblity on top of everything they've already got. If someone knows of a student loan that doesn't require solid two year employment (I won't have that until January at the very soonest) as a critria for the student borrower please let me know. Any ideas period would be welcome.

Oh and I refuse to stay home. I've had enough. I love Wilmington and that is where my life is and where I want it to stay. Not to mention I really need some freedom and some space which I get close to nothing of here.

If I can get this right it will be one of the best things that's ever happened to me. If I don't pull this off, it'll be the worst.

I don't blame him for pulling the funds this way. I'd do it if I were him. I just refuse to not go to Wilmington and I refuse to stay at home.
