Emergency Situation in the Work Place

During the last week, I found myself contemplating a very serious scenario. I blame this on my coworkers, probably one more so than others. Though "Leo" was not necessarily the person who brought it up in the first place, he certainly did not let the subject be a passing one.

I think you will find yourself considering a great many things you have not in the past once you have read this. You will learn a lot about how you really feel about your surroundings and the people with whom you work.

In the case that this emergency situation should arise while you are working, you will want to consider the following things:

Which of your coworkers would mostly likely keep a cool head in an emergency?
Who would be the best for recon and supply missions?
Is your place of work secure?
Is there a generator?
What kind of supplies and weapons would you already have available to you and what things would you be lacking?
Which of your coworkers would you need to keep an eye on and possibly guard in order to keep them from getting the rest of your group in trouble?
Who will you best be able to along with long term?
Consider strengths and weaknesses of your group, it may be important when it comes to working together to stay alive.
Mentally preparing yourself may help you act (as opposed to react) if the situation should befall you.
Know the strengths and weaknesses and hiding places of your workspace.
Understand the best ways to use any strength(s) of your self, building, coworkers, surrounding environment.

Of course, this list is not all inclusive as I am not an expert. Therefore I will defer you to the following book:

Survival Guide

The information in this book could save your life.
